Maricelis Galanes is a bicoastal actor and singer-songwriter from Puerto Rico.

She holds an MFA in Acting from the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University, where they focused on the Stanislavski Method. Maricelis also trained in acting at The Juilliard School's Extension Program and previously graduated from Syracuse University with a bachelor's degrees in both Drama and Psychology. Her most recent work includes the role of Mary Ann in the Feature Film "Miranda's Victim" directed by Michelle Danner, which premiered at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival, and TV appearances in FOX's Fantasy Island and ABC's The Baker and the Beauty. Additionally, Maricelis has worked Off-Broadway with theater's Roundabout Theatre Company, MCC Theater, PRTT/Pregones and Ensemble Studio Theatre. Maricelis loves writing her own original music, which is available on Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube.

She is proud to be a member of SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity Association.
